CDO Scholarship Opportunity

CDO is pleased to offer $1,000 scholarship opportunities to full-time students enrolled at an accredited four-year college, junior college, accredited business college or vocational-technical school. Four scholarship winners will be chosen from: two from CDO Distributor member families and two from CDO Supplier member families. Scholarship winners will receive $1,000 ($500 for the fall semester and $500 for the spring semester).

Application Dates: Eligible applicants may submit an application between June 1 - August 15. Winners will be announced in September of each year.

2024/2025 CDO SCHOLARSHIP FUND REQUIREMENTS FOR RECIPIENTS

  1. Scholarship recipients must be one of the following:
    1. An employee of a convenience distributor who is a CDO member.
    2. The child or spouse of an employee, or of the owner of a convenience distributor who is a CDO member.
    3. The child of a supplier to an Oklahoma distributor. The supplier must have been a financial supporter of the 2024 annual CDO conference.
  2. The student must have registered as a full-time student, with a passing C grade average, at an accredited four-year college, junior college, accredited business college or vocational-technical school. Evidence of registration must accompany the application.
  3. The student must email a transcript of grades for the previous fall year of school and a photo to CDO Executive Director, Rebecca Moore, at rmoore@cdofok.org or 405-880-1939.
  4. Family income or college major shall not be determinants regarding eligibility.
  5. A student who has won the scholarship is not eligible to re-apply.
  6. Application deadline: August 20, 2024

The Convenience Distributors of Oklahoma Scholarship Fund has been in existence for 32 years. During that time, scholarships have helped many deserving stduents associated with our industry. In the past, the scholarship fund utilized proceeds from the annual silent auction - which has been discontinued. We need your help to raise money for this great cause.
